My little girls (8, 5, and 3) love to color when I read, and I like the coloring page to be related to topic. The coloring pages help keep them interested in the topic, and stop fights from starting. Dover coloring books really made school easier and more fun for all of us.
I bought this for my 7 year old nephew. He likes coloring and this is good educational material. I bought it in Decemeber though, so got the older version with Bush rather than Obama on the cover.A lot of written material is in there so may be more suitable for a child who is a little older.
What a lovely conversation starter this becomes when you whip out your crayons/colored pencils and the American Presidents Coloring Book! I highly recommend this book whether you are 2 or 92. It is also fun, no matter your political affiliation, to see President Obama's likeness so beefed up and what interesting things they have to say about all the presidents!

My granddaughter loved it. Grandpa and I just visited Washington DC. so when we came home she asked if we had seen the President! So I went on to see what I could find for her about the presidents which was age appropriate, thus buying the president coloring book with some fun facts about each one.Very happy with my selection and the book.
I have this book in my law firm. I practice in family law, and occasionally clients bring their children. This givesa the kids something to do while the adults are talking, and the content makes it appropriate for a law office.
Fun coloring book for adults or older kids. The captions are lengthy and wordy so it's hard for little ones to stay focused and excited about learning.
good pictures with descriptions of who and why. Some of what they did or did not do and why those were important.
