Are you an art sleuth? Well, you quickly will become one after searching, discovering, and learning all about famous art from the book, "Are You an Art Sleuth?". There are 21 paintings from 20 different museums for children to search through and learn about. Within each painting there is a list of items that the child needs to search for. After finding all of the requested items you will turn the page to discover all sorts of facts, information, and secrets about that specific painting and/or artist. A few of the paintings are by Renoir, Monet, Seurat, Hogarth, and Rousseau. There is a helpful key at the end of the book that will help you double check your art sleuthing capabilities.This book gives children a beautiful introduction to art history and different types of painting styles. What a wonderful way to introduce famous art to young children.. Pairing it with the idea of being a sleuth makes it a great game in which they so much great information about the painting. I loved it!!
