My almost three-year-old daughter is officially in her princess phase and I wanted to buy her some princess/girly books for Christmas. I searched a lot on here and came upon this one, along with a few others. This one had pretty good reviews so I ordered it. Since Christmas morning, we have been reading it every single day, sometimes two or more times a day! The book is 12 pages long so it's fairly short and each set of pages only has one sentence or part of a sentence that continues on the following page, but it really is a cute book.The book tells the story of a little girl who loves to wear pretty dresses, shoes, and crowns and wants to ride in a carriage. The illustrations are beautiful and there is a lot of pink in the book so if your little girl loves pink, this would make a great gift for her! My daughter loves to point out all of the pretty details in the book and we talk about the story.Overall, I think this book is perfect for young girls who love pink and princesses! The board book pages are thick and seem fairly durable so this book would even make a good present for little girls in the one to two year age range as well. It's small enough for little hands to hold it and I highly recommend this book for your little girl who wants to be a princess!
This is a really cute little book. So many people are reading and selling ebooks that it is sometimes difficult to other books on line. I bought one of these for my niece and one for my grand daughter. They absolutely loved it. One thing my grandma used to do was to right a little note on the front inside cover along with the date. I still have many of them today and they are so precious. I would recommend this book to other readers that have a special little girl in their life.This book has hard laminate on the front and back so it is easy to wipe down with a dampened cloth. It has great pictures and it is an easy read. Perfect for a bed time story. Bought this for one of our granddaughters. I've read it so many times that I don't even need to turn the pages anymore. But, she loves it, so I'll keep reading it. Nice, colorful pictures help draw her attention.
I really love this book! It talks about her wanting to be a princess, putting on shoes, dress, etc and I loved the end. It feels right at home for me, because she has 3 older brothers and I couldn't stop laughing when I read the end.Super cute illustrations, very kid friendly, LOVE the pink.I noticed others are saying this is a short book, but I didn't think so. I don't think my 21 month old would want to sit through a 10 minute read. Right now, she just wants to flip through the pictures so I have just enough time to read it before she wants to turn the page.
My 2 year old daughter loves to pretend to be a princess. I read reviews for many different princess books, and I'm so happy I picked this one for her 2nd birthday. She is not reading on her own yet, but she loves to read the story with me. Before we read the story, my daughter always tells me she is ready to be a princess! The book is the perfect size to hold in her hands and practice turning the pages. There are only a few words on each page, and 12 pages all together. Although my daughter is only 2, this would be a great story for a child learning to read or practicing their site words. The book feels very durable, so I expect that we will be reading this for many years to come.
This is a short and sweet book. Great illustrations and it's a cute book! The girl wants to be a princess until the end where she wants to play in the mud, her mother says she can't wear her princess dress. She decides to wear her overalls to play in the mud and to be a princess tomorrow. Very cute!
Really short book. I felt like the description on the back was longer than the entire book! Took us about 30 seconds to read it if that. It was cute but way too short and simple. I wouldn't buy this again.
It's a very cute story and I absolutely love the artwork! My daughter enjoys this book and loves everything that has to do with princesses. The only thing we don't like is how short it is. It's a fun story but there's not much to it, unfortunately.
