My grandson, who is four, loves the Berenstain Bears I Can Read! level 1 books. I have purchased several of the books in this series for him every month and he enjoyed We Love Trucks as much as the others. He can't read these books yet, but enjoys retelling the stories.
My 4 year old and 2 year old grandsons adore trucks and therefore, this book is perfect for them. They like the colorful pictures and the fun story. They both love The Berenstain Bears and this is now one of their favorite books.
Both of our children are big fans of the Berenstain Bears books. I personally find the older books to be better than the newer ones, but there are a few exceptions. This is one of those exceptions!If you have a little one who is a fan of trucks, this is a cute change from the picture books that say "This is a mixer truck. This is a dump truck. This is a garbage truck" etc. This is still a story, involving Brother, Sister, and Gramps. He drives the 2 cubs all around town in his truck and they pass many other vehicles and people on their way. He has a kind word for many people they meet, while explaining to Brother and Sister what some of the vehicles are. Also, listed under each picture of a vehicle is labeled.This is a great early easy reader book. There are some tricky words (ambulance, etc), but also many words that a young reader will be familiar with or could figure out.We really enjoy this book. It's one of the best newer Berenstain Bears books we've read!
The three Berenstain Bear kids take a ride with Grizzly Gramps in his pickup truck to go to Farmer Ben's farm. Along the way, they see many different kinds of trucks, and watch some of them doing their work. Fun for preschoolers and new readers who love trucks. An I Can Read book, Level 1.
My grandson is almost 3 and he absolutely loves trucks. This book is perfect for him! He likes to have it read to him on a daily basis. My kids grew up reading the Berenstain Bears and I'm thrilled that my grandson is enjoying them as much as his dad did when he was little.
My 2y/o grandson loves trucks and He says trucks, trucks, trucks when I bring my kindle to his house.A great book for for young truck & book lovers.
My grandkids love this book. I try to bring the kids a couple books every now and then, and Berenstain Bears is one of the favorites.
