Colorful cars beep-beep, toot-toot, vroom-vroom, and whoosh across these collage-like pages, inviting kids along on an entertaining trip. Little ones will love joining in with the sounds, reading them aloud as they watch a little red jeep, big blue van, and big yellow taxi pass by. What do you get when all these vehicles make their distinctive sounds at the same time? A lot of cool noise!

My two-year-old loves it. I'm not so keen on the cars having genders, especially not when the females are the blue minivan, pink limousine, and tiny purple car. He can't read yet, so I'm just making all the cars "it" for now.

I first started checking this book out from my local library for my son when he was 18 months old. I bought it on when he turned 2 since we kept renewing it at the library. Now, at 3 yrs old, he still requests it for bedtime storytime all the time. It's a very simple, wonderful, classic book for little boys.

This book has terrific pictures that have distinct qualities that make it easy to tell the different types of cars apart. For each car featured, it also has it's own sound associated with it. The story is simple and goes through many different types of cars. My boys love this book and imitate the sounds and recite the story well. After checking it (and other Emma Garcia books) out of the library several times, we decided to go ahead and purchase it and they still love it time and time again. This author's other book, Tap Tap Bang Bang, is also a favorite at our house.

These board books are excellent. The images are vivid, and there are not too many words on each page. I appreciate the fact that a different vehicle is shown on each page along with a unique sound for that vehicle. It is a lot of fun to read and my one year old loves imitating the sounds that I make. At the end of the book, the cars go to sleep -- making this a perfect book for a bedtime ritual.

My son LOVES these books. We were checking them out from the library and he just wanted to keep them. My son was kind of a late talker and these books by Emma Garcia got him adding new words to his vocabulary. I bought all three for his birthday and he wants them read to him over and over again!

My two-and-a-half year old boy continues his obsession with cars, trucks, and all vehicles, so many books we read fall into that category. I recently brought home for him Toot Toot Beep Beep by Emma Garcia, and he immediately fell in love with it. This is a simple book with simple text and bright, colorful paint-and-collage illustrations. Each vehicle has two eyes on the front to help give him or her some character. The book features seven different vehicles, each of which makes his or her own sound. Whether it’s the jeep going “beep beep” or the van going “chugga chugga,” children will love hearing this book read aloud and repeating the sounds after you. In about a week, I was surprised to find my son could recite almost the whole book from memory. Now he loves “reading” it aloud to me. If your child is interested in cars and trucks, you should pick up Toot Toot Beep Beep and share it with him or her for a fun read.

I ordered this book, along with a few other car / truck books for my 20 month old, since cars is ALL he is into right now! Out of all the books we ordered (even the Richard Scarry ones), this is by far his favorite. It's simple, bright colors, and my son loves to imitate the vehicle noises while I am reading him the book. It's a nice size - not too large that he struggles to carry it around, but not so small that the pictures are hard to see. I definitely recommend this book to ANY little vehicle lovers!

My son loves cars and still enjoys this book I bought when he was a year old now at 28 months. It's a fun and quick read with graphics that pop. Good for learning colors and counting if you want to make it more interactive!
