Bought this for my 7 year old son. He loves it and his favorite Pokemon from Black & White is Oshawott. We read a few pages of this book every night and learned all of the abilities and characteristics of the Black/White version Pokemon. Nice thick and colorful pages. Every page features a Pokemon, as displayed in the "Click to Look Inside" above. Highly recommended for every Pokemon fan/paraphernalia collector. Good value for the price. We can sit and watch the TV show together and I can have now fun discussions with the my son about it, since within a month, I'm a Pokemon Black/White expert! :)
The book explains all the detail what level the Pokemon is going to evolve. You know when to train them to gain the best move and it's definitely worth the price =p.
My seven-year-old daughter loves the Pokemon animated series and enjoys trading cards with her friends from school. She also loves learning about the various characters that populate the world of Pokemon. This Pokemon Black and White Handbook was just the thing for her to learn more about the Pokemon characters from the Pokemon Black and White tv show. The paper is of good quality, and the book is illustrated in full color which makes for an engaging reading experience.This book contains facts and information about each Pokemon in the Black and White series (which is newer than the regular Pokemon) such as the type, species, weight, etc. Readers will also learn about how the Pokemons evolve, common moves, and their region of origin. Like an excellent index, each of the characters are listed in alphabetical form which makes it convenient to look up a character. I'd recommend this book to all Pokemon fan. My boys spend hours poring over their pokemon books - this is a good summary of the different characters. They read it together.
This book is almost exactly what I thought it would be. It lists almost every Unova Pokemon except for some legendaries. My problems with this is how the colors are. Some of the images are not entirely clear, it's like looking at a 3D picture without the 3D glasses(and not the glasses-less type 3D image, ex:3DS images).
My 6 year son loves this book to research all that is Pokemon. It's an enclyopedia of Pokemon. Great price and hard to find at Target.Helps me to understand his world so we can talk about pretend battles of who would win.
The book is pretty simple. It contains pictures and a bit of info on all of the new Black and White series Pokemon. My nephew loved it for the great pictures, as he loves to draw. Cheap and worth getting for any Pokemon fan
My 10 year old daughter has recently become a huge Pokemon fan. She got this book for her birthday and she loves it. It is another one that she looks at all the time. I highly recommend it for any Pokemon fans in your household!
