These series of Stain Glass Coloring Books measure about 4.25" wide by 5.5" tall. They are eight velum like pages. The edges are not perforated so to display them against the light of a window, you'll want to cut them out for a clean edge. I first saw these at an art event at my daughter's elementary school. The art teacher had (removed the cover with a staple remover and with a paper cutter, cut them out of the book). They were a take home item for the children. They'd sit at the table and use the provided markers and color the page and then show it off on the light box. The kids loved it. I have since bought several of these Dover mini coloring books to hand out as party favors, birthday gifts for friends who love to draw and they are always well received. Magic markers seem to work best, but we've used crayons and colored pencils as well. We hang them in our windows and enjoy them till our Florida sun bleaches the color out (at which point, usually a couple months later, we recolor them)

I would not buy this again. It is not a good bargain for the money. It is very tiny and just not worth it. I would have been better off buying full size coloring books from the Dollar Tree or a Dollar Store.

My artistic 10-yo enjoys drawing, coloring, crafting, etc. The effect of coloring on the translucent paper is fun and novel. These are 4x5" books (you can find that in the manufacture details when you scroll down). Perfect for travel, or waiting times, or tucking in school bags for indoor recess, party favors, etc. for $1.35, I wouldn't expect a full size coloring book. And, bonus, these qualify for free shipping on $35 dollar orders. So, if your order is $1 or $2 short, you can throw a couple of these in, and make that free shipping amount! (and have a stocking stuffer handy for the next gift occasion) ;)

I am pleased with the coloring book images and the grandkids think they are fun and different. I should have read the description more carefully because I was surprised at how small these are and how few pages they have. It was an inexpensive purchase that entertained the kids.

This coloring book is a quarter of the size of a regular coloring book. It only measures 4" by 5". No where in the description does it say this book is so small!!! I was expecting a normal 12"x8" They need to put this in the information. Plus there is only 8 pages!

I BOUGHT MORE THEN ONE OF THESE KINDS OF BOOK FOR MORE CHOICES FOR THE KIDS AT MY SONS B-DAY PARTY BUT HAD BOUGHT MORE THEN I NEEDED AND SO I KEPT THIS ONE FOR MY SELF THEY ARE NICE DETAILED PICTURES AND LOOK GOOD COLORED IN THE WINDOW THIS THE BOOK OUT OF ALL OF THEM THAT I LIKES THE BEST.

We wanted something inexpensive to add to party favors. These are perfect. Kids love to color ... and putting them in the window adds a little magic.Perforated pages might be nice but for the price these are excellent.

Read the description, i did not. Small book (slightly larger than a deck of cards) only has about 10 pages. BUT, it is VERY NICE. It is a stain glass design book. Lots of fun.
