Excellent value, and can keep young children entertained for a few minutes.Now these books are small--but that's kind of the point of these book, I think. They're portable, easy to throw in a briefcase or purse or back of the car, and handy to give to children at the doctor's office waiting room, or in an airport, or on a car trip, or at a restaurant waiting for food, or really, just anywhere where you want to have a short educational (or semi-educational) activity.And I gotta admit, I like that this is an "un-plugged" option. Not on a phone or tablet or screen--just a good old-fashioned book with simple activities, vivid illustrations, and things to *do*--that is, an active, tactile experience--even if the activities are quite simple (like peeling stickers).We don't leave home without a few of these. (Just be prepared, if you haven't ordered these before, for a small booklet, not a *book* book.)
I ordered this book knowing I wasnt going to get anything spectacular because it was cheap, but I figured it would actually have activities in it, because of the title. It's nothing more than 21 animated looking stickers with a small land scene on the inside front and back covers. They call it a panoramic scene to place the stickers on. The scene measures less than 6 inches high and 8 inches long. This book is worth no more than 25 cents.
It is amazing that this little book (4 pages only) containspictures from Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Protoceratops .... to theTyrannosaurus rex. There are total 21 of them. I, myself, even don't know some of them. The various pictures are attractive, not to mention you can stick them to kid's cloth. Kids love them. If your kid loves 'The Land Before Time' series like mine, I am sure they will love them.
My son loves stickers! This is like the 12th sticker book from Dover that I bought him and he loves to play with them. They are small and great for travel and the cover of the book is laminated so that he can stick on the sticks and take them off and reposition them. I would recommend these if you have young children!
