Not a whole lot to say about this book that you couldn't figure out on your own. My son is a massive wrestling fan, and John Cena's his second or third favorite wrestler (I can't keep up, he may be tenth by now). However, they don't write a lot of books about Roman Reigns, so this one seemed to work. I gave it to him when the tooth fairy forgot to come for two days (how rude!); and it seemed like a buck just wouldn't cut it or be apology enough for accidentally sleeping through waking up in the middle of the night to put money under his pillow, twice. He loved it! He's a reluctant reader, so to find something that he's really interested in and wants to read over and over again is a definite plus. If you have a young beginning reader, this book is perfect. Well, if that young reader happens to like John Cena. If not, this is probably not the best book.
After I read John Cena's advice " never give up, work out & get a good education." I decided my grandson had choosen an excellent role model, so I purchased this book for him. Now If there's a homework discussion I can ask with authority, "what would John Cena do?" I read the book too! It's excellent!!
If your WWE fan loves John Cena, he/she will love this book. Great book to motivate reading for a child who doesn't enjoy reading. The WWE fan will enjoy reading this because they love WWE and John Cena.
My nephew is 7 years old and loves John Cena. He flipped out with excitement when he seen that I got him this book. My sister was happy too because he will be able to practice reading. It's not too long and has a ton of pictures for the reader to look at.
My 7 year old son really loves this book and it's easy for him to read :) He really likes John Cena!
this book was amazing because it all about John cena and it told you this life he lived in until he was 15
DK reading level 2 is NOT a 2nd grade reading level. Too many difficult words in this book, though the content did appeal to my 6th grader who struggles with reading. He just couldn't read it independently. Too hard.
My son loved the book.
