I love these series. But most important that my son does. I order 20+ books and he loves to read them (usually it is not that easy to make him read). I got mix of 2-3-4 levels for the second grader, second level is too easy, but it creates some fun and he reads them with pleasure. Love it, I would recommend it.

Fantastic read! My 7 year old learned all about Babe Ruth after reading this story. All the basic facts plus the fun facts! Illustration is great too. Keep these historical, step into reading books coming!

I love to read about baseball hero's. Like Orville Hodge in The Unknown Baseball Player, Babe Ruth is one of my favorite baseball hero's.In this exciting and delightful baseball story, Babe Ruth steps up to save baseball at a time when people want to give up participating in this great American sport. And like the wise old saying goes that my mother told me about many years ago, "don't be a quitter."Truly, this fictional account is a tribute to an heroic baseball figure that brings his character and exciting baseball player style to life in an effort to save baseball. Filled with lots of humor and colorful illustrations, I think kids of all ages will love this book which is easy to read. I strongly recommend it, give it five stars, and I'm Marvin P. Ferguson, author of BOYS ON THE GOLD COAST.

My 7 year old son is a big baseball fan. He loved reading about Babe Ruth and how talented and how this gift helped him stay connected to children. The book was definitely a good read. We have read several times. Keeps young readers interested.

My son who is 10 yrs old and has Autism fell in love with this book and grew an interest in the sport from this reading hundreds of times. The illustrations are wonderful and the story is inspiring even to early readers!

We bought this book to do my 7 years olds biography in a can project. After reading it once he is able to tell me a lot of the facts in the book which surprised me. Very good book!
