I was so excited to get this book for my 5 year old! He just gobbled it up. It's very easy to read and understand, and provides solid information. Even I learned a lot from this book! So happy these books are available for my kids to read - I wish I had these when I was younger.
I know a book should not be judged by its cover, but I find it very disappointing that NatGeo chose to display a portrait with European traits. Why is it so unacceptable to have a middle-eastern portrayal of such an important scientist?

My 9 years old daughter loved it, and I learned a lot myself along the way!
It is a good book but it is not for toddlers. I was hoping to find something for my 3 year old. It is more for older kids
