This is a beautiful calendar with wonderful thought-provoking poetry. I honestly didn't know who Hafiz was before buying the calendar, but I know now and I'm hooked! I was showing it off to my friends and one of them just had to have one, so I gave it to her and quickly ordered another one for me :) Truly beautiful. I can't wait to use some of the pictures in my home when the year is over.
This is a lovely calendar for those who love the writings of Hafiz. I bought two copies - one for myself & one for a friend who likes his writings. The art is stunning & the quotes chosen are good for reflection.
Other calendars I bought as gifts for others.Hafiz I acquired for myself:-)... Essentially, I am in love with Hafiz... His wisdom is jubilant… And actually Ecstatic!!! It fully describes his personal understanding and relationship with The Divine... It both affirms and inspires further my personal connection with THE Divine as well as the Divine within me!!Reading Hafiz is a part of my every day spiritual rituals!
My favorite quote on this calendar is "Do what most enables you to fly and brings a feeling to the heart that makes you glad to be alive" by Hafiz. Simply reading the poetry and looking at the pictures is inspiring. It's great to have that inspiration each time one looks at a calendar. Also it is a great gift. Whoever it is given to, will probably feel loved every time they look at this calendar. Good quality paper and printing.
I love the images and the selections from Rumi. The calendar also doesn't hold back on international holidays and other helpful indicators (Daylight Savings, etc.) Very nicely done!
I bought this as a gift for a friend who appreciates the wisdom of Hafiz. The artwork is a lovely accompaniment to his words. I highly recommend it, wish I'd bought one for me, too!
