The Ancient Mexican Designs Coloring Book is a great coloring book for not only coloring but also displaying the native history of Mexico through the elaborate drawings. There are thirty designs to color in this coloring book. Most of the designs are quite intricate and are probably better suited for older children and adults. The designs are beautiful and include both Aztec and Mayan gods and daily life scenes. Each design fits on about an 8.5" x 11" page and each are labelled in English with a short narrative about the picture which is also in English. I was really impressed with just how beautiful the designs turned out to be.
As with several other of Marty Noble's coloring books, not the stained glass ones though, I am impressed with the details provided in all of the images. Coloring them with my Prismacolor pencils will be a joy. As with several other of Noble's coloring books, I am extremely happy with this choice and the wide variety of coloring book publications the author provides.
Interesting,but not simple designs for kids to use multiple colors and stay busy coloring for hours.My daughter loves it and I like the original indian motives.
Great, relaxing designs that challenge the mind and spirit for those of us who love to color. Many designs can be applied to craft work also. Great buy.
This met all my expectations, with a lot of varied and beautifully detailed drawings. The Mayans in particular were well represented.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. What a hit! Definitely for use with colored pencils or crayons as markers tend to bleed through.
