We previously bought "Do Cows Meow" and our son has loved it. It is one of his favorite books! So much so that the flaps have been ripped off multiple times and now the pages ripped out. So it was time for a replacement and we found this. It is the same format with jungle animals so I'm sure he is going to love it just as much. Just be careful with the flaps!

I had to buy this book for my 5 month old because he loved the other book Do cows meow? I have read this book to him and he gets so excited. He loves it as much as the other one. This book is just as nice as Do cows meow? The pages are easy to clean as well.This book has jungle animals.

This was an instant hit in our house! Usually, my 2 year old takes awhile to warm up to new books, but this was an immediate favorite. We've read it every day since she got it! The only thing that annoys me (as a parent), is NO where in the book does it say "Do Crocs Kiss." The line in the book is "Do Crocs Cry? Do Crocs clap?" So my daughter always calls it the "Crocs Cry" book. Minor complaint…and just seems like a silly choice for the author to use this as the book title.

My 2 year old got Where's Spot for Christmas and loves the flaps. So, I started reviewing lift-a-flap books on and came across this one. It came in the mail today and we've already read it several times. The flaps are sturdy, which I love since my son can be rough, and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the book, which is larger than I expected. I love the illustrations and colors. It's a very simple book, but it doesn't need any frills. The rhymes are cute and I can tell, it will become one of his favorites.

This is by far my 18 month old's favorite book. He thinks the rhymes and sounds are hilarious and its one of the few lift a flap books that doesn't get destroyed by him pulling on it. Overall cute and colorful and awesome.

We had bought the "Do Cows Meow?" Book and our 15 month old adored it so we went ahead and bought this one as well. Both books have been a huge hit with her! The flaps are really sturdy and thick and as much as she likes to yank and pull on the flaps they have yet to rip. Great book!

My 1 1/2 year old son loves lift-the-flap books, but they are usually missing various flaps after the 3rd or 4th read. After reading reviews for this one about how sturdy it was, I decided to give it a try. My son LOVES this book, we have read it at least once a day for the past couple months and aren't missing any flaps! It's still in great shape. The flaps are sturdy, hard to rip, bend or fold and easy for him to lift on his own. The pictures are big and colorful.The only thing I question is some of the animals and sounds used. It's confusing to see that a tiger says "chomp" in this book (which isn't really a sound), when another book he has tells him a tiger says "Roar," which is what the bear says in the book. I'd rather see a greater variety of animals with "real" sounds. The tiger, lion and croc all have strange sounds like "chomp" and "snap," which don't make sense to someone just learning animal sounds.

After reading Do Cows Meow? I found this book and purchased it for my toddler. She likes it, but it's definitely not her favorite. She seems a little confused by the choice of animals and corresponding sounds.
