theres no real plot in this book for the kids to follow. Its not a real book, there is no story, each page just introduces a different character basically and its not what you are thinking. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, because my son still liked the pictures, but ive read it to him once and he got bored. Buying books for kids is great, but this is not a good story to capture your childs imagination, its a cheesy factlet book that looks like it would be a fun story for a little boy... but its not
My boys are obsessed with the Ninja Turtles. Having books like this really does open up their mind to imagination and give them a break from technology. I have found that they are more likely to drop their iPad and Leap Frog devices for these kind of books.Love it!
I bought this book for my 3 year old son. He's almost 4 and we love this book. The story is really cute,the pictures are good. We really like it. Dog pound and fishface are also included in this book which my son absolutely loved as well. Highly recommended.
My 3.5 son is a newer TMNT fan, introduced through other boys at preschool. This book was a great introduction to who they are and what they are about. The illustrations are colorful and it is an easy read and I appreciated that it was toddler friendly without focusing on too much of the fighting and violence.
I bought this book for my nephew last year for Christmas. He is a huge ninja turtle fan and a fan of reading too. I saw the Little Golden Book and just had to buy it. He loves the book. Anything that my nephew enjoys that will give him entertainment AND encourage him to read is hands down worth whatever I have to pay for it. For the price, quality, and entertainment, I definitely give Little Golden Book 5 stars!
This was a gift for a 4-year old. It's a kid friendly book appropriate for the age range. Pictures were colorful and who doesn't love a Little Golden Book. The parents were also happy to add this to their library collection for their two boys. Big Ninja Turtle fans.
Great illustrations, and a nice summary of the origin of the Ninja Turtles, and an overview of the Turtles universe of characters. Both of my sons (ages 2 and 5) really love this book. Little Golden Book has done a great job with this adaptation.
This is the review of my 6-year-old son:"It's a good book and I like it a lot. Splinter is in it and many people that you may not know [if you are a new TMNT fan]. You can learn the turtles' names and bad guys like Dog Pound and Fishface."
