The Peter Rabbit Classic Collection is quite nice and was well received by the new mom for whom it was intended. The slipcase is elegant and sturdy and, of course, the illustrations are wonderful. While I can't comment on the individual books, as I didn't remove the shrink wrap, the package in general looks more expensive than it was.BUT.....Be aware that if you're giving this as a gift and don't want the recipient to know the price you paid, you WILL have to remove the shrink wrap, unless you get creative, like I did. Stuck to the outside of the slipcase is a large blue and white sticker, loudly proclaiming "A $45 Value for only $24.95". This sticker is UNDER the shrink wrap! I didn't want to remove the shrink wrap because I wanted to keep the package protected and looking brand new, but I also didn't want to advertise what I paid for it (even though it was less than the $24.95). Using a very sharp craft knife, I managed to cut a circle in the plastic and was able to peel the sticker off, with no damage to the slip case. Still, I find it annoying that I had to go to those lengths. Thought I'd mention this, especially if you are sending the books directly to someone as a gift!
