This is basically a written out version of the episode (if you've ever seen the episode "grown-ups come back")We purchased in anticipation of starting preschool and because she knew the song/episode, I found it very helpful. On the way to school the first few days, we sang "grown ups come back" and then had a talk about mommy coming back at the end of the day. It was helpful.

I bought this for my 3 year old who is having trouble adjusting to preschool. It really helps. We read this before school and it truly helped him with the transition from being home to going to school.

I love Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, and my son is obsessed! I loved the price of the book, super cheap. The book is written simple short version of one of the episodes. It may not be the best for children who are young and rip books, my 3 year old has no issue turning the pages. It does wear/tear easier but what well read book would not? Overall I love love this book, I bought it for my son and read it a few times before he started preschool. A simple "what to expect" type of thing, helps children understand the concept of starting school. What will happen, what to expect and that grown ups come back :D I highly recommend this book, I must say I love it, my son loves it!

This book really helped prepare my son for preschool! He started school last week and he was ready to go and knew that we would be back for him! He even told me "okay mom you can go now!" This wasn't what I expected from my son at all, when starting school....Daniel Tiger definitely helped!

We love the Daniel Tiger series and my son is so excited to have the books. If only I could protect them from my 1 year old who tears books! They are not 1 year old proof but that's not their fault :) Great series, great books, age appropriate, good lessons!

This is more about parents coming back than school itself. I was hoping for a bit more to get my daughter excited about preschool, and initially was pretty disappointed-I was looking for more of a "you put your bag in your cubby! you get to play blocks! you have circle time!" type of book. But now whenever we talk about school she tells us how we're going to drop her off and come back, so it was semi-helpful. She does now hug her dad after work saying "you came back!" which is adorable.

Daniel Tiger is my 18 mo grand daughter's favorite. She is only allowed 30 min of TV a day and Daniel is her choice. The books are great so we can read and talk about the characters after the TV show. The lessons are based on Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Not only do they teach children, but also adults. They teach adults how to talk to children in a respectful and understanding way. We are using this book to introduce the concept of school as we are starting pre-preschool once a week. This book has longer sentences than the "Ready to Read" pre level one books. It would probably be at the level two- superstar reader level, but great for talking with younger kids about school and she loves the pictures.

Got this for my 3 yr old who has just entered preschool. He loves this bright colored book and participating in the "can you find" activities. We also challenge him to find other things as well
