My five year old has been absorbed for the past three hours... It's a LOT of book for the money with 60 images to color. Definitely, the best deal amongst the selection of all coloring books on .
This book is mostly good. A lot of the pictures are very cute bubbly little figures. Some are a bit weird/creepy though (steak with a face etc.) I like that the bold lines don't bleed into the crayons like other coloring books for kids. The paper would be ok with markers, but might bleed through a bit. I don't like that there us no perforation to pull pages out. It's near impossible to pull out a page from the book without ripping it.
Just like it says, this coloring book is cute and cuddly! It's huge - over 100 pages - and not just for kids! Be aware that there is a lot of white space! Each page has a drawing to color in on one side and a framed white space on the other side entitled "My Drawing" for your own personal doodles.
Like the book title, it really is Cute & Cuddly. Besides the cute drawings, the coloring areas are not too detailed, which makes it easier for kids to color. My kids will definitely enjoy coloring this book.ps. I really love the cloud page and the squid page
This book is totally ADORABLE! I bought this as a gift for one of my friends kids and now I'm seriously considering buying another for myself. Some of the images are so cute I had to fight the urge to color them myself. I'll be good and mail this off to the 5 year old it's meant for though. It's so her style. I think she's going to love it.
Arrived damaged, I'm super annoyed. The cover is very bent in multiple places as well as the first 10 pages or so inside. I'd send it back if I had time but I bought this to entertain my son on a plane ride in a couple days and it's not like he'll care. I also think it's strange that the pictures in the book are sideways because if you try and orient it facing toward you it just keeps trying to flip closed. I'll have to seriously bend the spine to get this sucker to stay open so my kid can color and actually look at the picture in the right direction. The pictures are cute though.
I purchased this along with Life Under The Sea: Ocean Kids Coloring Book (Super Fun Coloring Books For Kids) (Volume 28) for my granddaughter's Easter basket. and I definitely prefer the other one (it is more "scene based" rather than just having a single item on a page with a lot of white space leftover). Both books offer large, easy to color pictures that are great for kids under 5 or 6 years old. I also bought Crayola Ultimate Crayon Case, 152-Crayons at the same time.
This coloring book has telly cut dsigns and seems grey with crayons. I usually color with prisma colored pencils and they didn't work well with this coloring book, which is a shame. I love that there are blank pages to practice drawing your own version of the art!! However, for now it's just a cute line art book for me. I might scan the pictures and color them myself in paint tool Sai or photoshop. If your medium is colored pencils this won't be good for you, but the art is worth the cost.
