If you are a fan of Anne of Green Gables, I bet you will enjoy this book. There is a nice variety in the complexity and theme of the pages drawn by Calee M. Lee. The quotes are surrounded by paisleys, hearts, trees, flowers, and there are a few mandalas. Some designs are more simple, and a few are very intricate, but most are medium complexity.A few of the pages are going to require fine tip markers, gel pens, or a really sharp colored pencil. I used Prismacolor pencils on the page I colored. Most markers do bleed through this paper, so use a scrap sheet behind the page you're doing.Details:-8.5x11" pages-30 single-sided designs-Designs do not run off the edge or into the binding, but most fill the majority of the page-Smooth, white paper (same quality as all the Createspace publications)Overall, the variety of the designs in this book will allow you to find something to fit your coloring mood of the day!I received a copy of this book to evaluate in exchange for an unbiased review.
I really like this coloring book. The quotes are wonderful and the accompanying pictures are very pretty and true to the Green Gables books. I like the details in the pictures. It is wonderful to find a coloring book that is NOT just a bunch of designs. I really dislike those. I highly recommend this to those that want pictures and quotes that are nice enough to color and then frame!
What better way to help me decompress and keep calm by coloring some of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies. I love this coloring book and the quotes that were chosen. There are a great variety of coloring pages and styles that you will enjoy. If you are looking for a more complicated designed book, this may not be the right fit as many of the pages are more simple and revolve around the quotes.
Anne of Green Gables was a childhood favorite of my daughter's. She and I both read them and loved it. I got two of these coloring books one for my daughter and one for myself.
