This Daniel Tiger book is great for my 2 year old. We Pre-ordered 4 books and this is for sure his favorite. He loves that the wheels actually move and he drives it like its a toy. So you get a book and a fun toy for your kids to play with. The story is very good because you get to see all the characters of the show and you see where they live and the families they have.Overall this is a wonderful book that kids will enjoy for a very long time, It is well built and has very thick pages so those page rippers wont be able to infiltrate this one. Get it and have a blast!

I gave this to my son for his 2yr birthday and he LOVED it for about a week when it fell apart. He still carries the pages around and tells us how tiger is broken. We have many board books that have lasted through three kids with no problem. This book is much more flimsy and the pages peel right off the cardboard backing.

Daniel Tiger is such a great program for kiddos. I started showing this TV show to my son when he was an infant, he was enthralled by the big faces, and now as a toddler loves the songs and characters. I love how they have so many great lessons in each episode, and do the cartoon as well as real life experiences for the kiddos to watch. The lessons are so good to implement with my little one, and as I hear the songs more and more I can remember to sing them to him when he's facing one of those issues. We have a couple of the holiday Daniel Tiger lift the flap books also. He also has the DVD set and the big and small Daniel Tiger plush. Of course he was Daniel Tiger for Halloween this year also. So he is a huge fan! (We ordered a Trolley patch like the kids wear in the show on their red zip sweaters). Overall, I highly recommend this show to any parent looking for an innocent program, that teaches kids concepts about life experiences, feelings, and how to handle them. This book arrived in a padded envelope from with a few dents and dings. Not bad enough to return it though. It's a hard board book in the shape of Trolley, with glossy pages. The excitement from my son when receiving this as part of his Easter gift was beyond wonderful for me to watch. We have read it numerous times already, and I am so glad I purchased this book for him. It's a must-have for any kiddo that has a love for Daniel Tiger.

Daniel Tiger is my 18 mo grand daughter's favorite. She is only allowed 30 min of TV a day and Daniel is her choice. The books are great so we can read and talk about the characters after the TV show. The lessons are based on Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Not only do they teach children, but also adults. They teach adults how to talk to children in a respectful and understanding way. This board book is very short, doesn't have all the places in Daniel's neighborhood, but is cute. The wheels on the Trolley really turn.

We love Daniel Tiger, and when I bought this book I was really excited to give it to my daughter. The problem is that for a board book, it does not stay together very well. In 6 months it has all but fallen apart completely. The front and back cover were the first to go, followed by the wheels. Maybe luck would be better for someone slightly older than 2.

I purchased this book for my toddler and it's a hit! It features all of the kid characters from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood (Daniel Tiger, Prince Wednesday, Katerina Kittycat, Miss Elaina, and O the owl) and of course the trolley. It's a short book, perfect for short attention spans and the trolley shape and wheels are very cute. I highly recommend this to fans of Daniel Tiger (and Mr. Rogers)!

Sometimes it is hard to gauge the amount of words in these books. My son has a limited attention span so this matters! LOLWell, this one was perfect for my son. It has a short story, pages about each character and he likes the wheels on it. Highly recomment for 2-3 yr old Daniel fans!

Finally, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood books are here! Parents and children alike are rejoicing openly in the streets!"A Ride Through the Neighborhood" is a delightful little book filled with characters from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. School is out for the day and Trolley is taking Miss Elena, Prince Wednesday, Katerina Kittycat, O the Owl, and Daniel Tiger to their families. Trolley begins its ride through the neighborhood with all the children aboard, dropping kids off to their parents/guardians until only Daniel is left to met his dad at the Clock Factory. Each character is equally featured, so your little ones won't be disappointed. The book opens with Daniel's bright, "Hi, neighbor!" and closes with his loving, "Ugga Mugga!" Get ready to read a lot of "dings" for Trolley--your kiddo will dig it!The book is of a very nice quality. It is a board book, but without the massively thick pages some have. Definitely sturdy. The wheels do spin freely which is a nice touch. You can wheel the Trolley book around in make-believe, if you like.Wonderful purchase. Our two year old's brain basically exploded with joy!
