Goodnight, Daniel Tiger is a great book to use when putting your child down to sleep. My little one loves brushing his teeth and taking baths so he was so excited seeing Daniel do the same. This show is all he watches so when the books we ordered arrived he was ecstatic. The book is very nice and can take some wear and throwing around the room. The cover has a cool soft fabric that I have never seen before on a small book like this, very nice detail.Overall my child likes this and the trolly book they have with the wheels the most. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good children's book. Especially if you are a Daniel Tiger fan.

You can't tell by the image, but the cover border is textured and looks like Daniel Tiger's red sweater. What a nice touch! The cover is also slightly padded/soft. And the pages are glossy, somewhat like thin laminated paper. So, much more durable than regular book paper! Pictures are big, bright, and colorful. Minor issue: Pages smell kinda funny, probably due to the kind of paper, printing, etc. I'm hoping it fades with time. And the book follows the episode but is not exactly like it.My soon to be 3-year-old son loves this book, and like other reviewers I have to read this book to him like 5 times a day. My son loves DTN and this book. And I love it for him. I plan to keep this book as a keepsake after my son outgrows it!Highly recommend!

Awesome, just plain awesome. We read this, by request, to our daughter at least 5 times a day. I am thinking about leaving it in her room to save it just for bedtime. You know, just because kids thrive off of repetition, doesn't mean mama is thrilled to read the same thing all day ;)If you've never seen the show the bathtub song is sung to the tune of "Row Row Row Your Boat" and is one of our daughter's favorites. The only wish I have is that they had included the whole "Good Night Daniel" song lyrics. I already sing that song to my daughter with her name in place of "Daniel" but I wish the rest was in the book so when other people read the book to her it won't be so short. After we finish the book I sing the song again as I tuck her in. DT really helped us solidify her night time routine and she loves to sing the songs as we go through the steps.I can't praise Daniel Tiger enough for teaching our daughter important life lessons. It's so cute to hear her do things "just like Daniel Tiger!" If you don't know the songs you can always Youtube or Google them. I'm willing to bet if your child is a DT fan you may already be singing the songs while you're doing something else ;)

This is a brilliant children’s book geared for getting a child ready for bed. As adults, we generally almost count the minutes before we are able to go to bed, but a child is different, even when they are tired, they are never quite ready to end their day.Daniel is an ‘animated’ young boy tiger who wants to continue playing but it is getting close to bedtime. Daniel would like to ‘take a trolley ride’; however, his parents gently guide him towards the ‘night routine’ of ‘bath time, pj’s, brushing teeth, a story and song, and off to bed’.Daniel’s mom and dad both share Daniel’s fantasies all the while keeping Daniel focused on the bedtime routine. Dad gives Daniel ‘a trolley ride to the bath’, (a ride on Dad’s back), short silly, fun songs as Daniel ‘sails the soapy seas’ in the bathtub, and this encouraging routine is continued through putting on the pajamas, brushing teeth and the last ‘trolley ride’ to bed. When Daniel is finally in his bed, snuggled up comfortably with his favorite soft doll, Daniel’s mother reads him a bedtime story and Daniel is finally tired and ready for sleep. This is a beautifully illustrated bedtime book with large and bright shiny pictures; the cover is softly padded and edged with red corduroy. I bought this for my very young grandson in anticipation of the age in which a young child rebels against bedtime, in order to ease the transition of daytime to bedtime in a pleasant and cheerful manner.

Every night this book is read to our little one. It is very educational and halpful as a learning tool. After the book is read everyone gets good night kisses and put to bed. The pages are printed on a nice heavy paper but little ones hands like to pull on them and some get torn. I would recommend this book.

Great illustrations - just like the Good Morning/Good Night episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Colorful and happy images for bedtime.Several songs from that episode are written into the story, so you might want to watch it before you read this to your Daniel Tiger fan. For example, some lyrics for "Brusha, Brusha, Brush my Teeth," "Good Night Daniel, Good Night," and other songs are written into the story. This is a great bedtime story to reinforce a child's bedtime routine and why it's so important to get a good night's sleep. Great value on this paperback version, too. I would recommend this even for children who don't watch the show.

Purchased the Kindle version of this book as the description says "Goodnight, Daniel Tiger: with audio recording." However, there is NO audio recording associated with this book. I tried contacting customer service to ask about this, was sent to an Audible.com representative who could only confirm that no audio book for this title exists, and my attempts after that to contact customer service (so that the description of this item could be fixed) were unsuccessful. This is a cute story, but I purchased it assuming that there would be audio with the book. What a bummer!
