There is enough room in each square to write what you need. The paper is quite glossy and of high quality, so when I transferred birthday reminders onto my 2015 calendar, my inky pen smeared a little, so I will remember to use a different pen next time. The pictures are lovely, and at the bottom of each month is an inspirational paragraph to read. I am pleased!
This was a gift and my husband really likes it. I usually get him Japanese Gardens by Avalanche but it has been getting harder to find that one so I tried this one for something a bit different. He likes the pictures as well as the quotes that are sprinkled throughout. I will consider getting this again.
I give an oriental garden calendar to a friend for Christmas each year. She really liked this one! She said the color, printing, and choice of photos was far more appealing than the calendars of other companies I've given her in prior years.
Perfect!!! I love this calendar, such beautiful and stunning photography. Also, it has nice inspirational quotes on it, and holidays I've never even heard of before. It's definitively inspiring to me.
Have been a follower of photographs by John Lander for quite some time. He has a great eye for detail and his photos give one the feel of wanting to be able to step inside the picture. If you have a love of Oriental photography this a calendar you will not want to pass up. Kudos John for another great project.
I very happily received this calendar as a gift from a friend and fellow Kyoto-phile. The images are lovely and offer a variety of glimpses into the traditional side of Kyoto. I'm looking forward to having it hanging on my office wall next year.
