The calendar itself is beautiful but I wish I could have seen what the "positive messages" were before I ordered it. Yes, I want to be confident, empowered, yada, yada but I guess I'd rather be inspired to be a good, kind, giving person. I get that they're giving platitudes to make people feel good about themselves but the quotes here almost seem to have a bitter "screw everybody else" feel to them. It might be good for a person who feels like the world is against them, but it's not for me.
While I appreciate the idea and sentiments... I'm a grammar and spelling, let's say enthusiast. The fact that there are one or more of either errors in more than 2 of the 8 months so far this year, means that someone wasn't doing their job. And, because I'm an enthusiast, it certainly decreases my enjoyment of the calendar, especially those months with glaring (to me) errors. In fact, I actually drew and/or wrote corrections to one month because it was so blatant and dissatisfying.
I love this calendar. I have last year's version as well. Colors are so bright and vivid.
Bought for myself and my friends. Love them!
What a delightful little book. I keep it right by my bedside and read it every night to remind me of what is important in life. Love it. The illustrations are just as lovely as the reading,
This is my 2015 calendar & it is based on the book with the same name. The quotes for each month are very inspiring & thought provoking.
