Boris Vallejo has been publishing beautiful fantasy art calendars for several decades: I've bought one each year for the last twenty years (starting in 1995) and I believe he published several as far back as the eighties. Often there is a unifying theme or narrative to the collections in a calendar, sometimes with accompanying text from a master of written fantasy such as Philip Jose Farmer (1995) or C.J. Henderson (2002).For the past decade and a half these calendars have been joint productions between Boris and his present wife, Julie Bell.
