I have used this tiny calendar for three years now. I am a rather traditional Episcopalian, but I find that these sayings offer a different perspective on life than a daily "bible verse." Perhaps it is because many of them are focused on action (or refraining from action). Two of my favorites: Put your heart, mind, intellect and soul even to your smallest acts. This is the secret of success." And: "Guard your tongue, for it is highly dangerous; unguarded words can cause terrible distress."These two sayings alone have helped me improve my attitude, my work product, and probably saved a friendship or two. I keep this calendar on my desk, and tape the "favorites" to my monitors. The pages are about the size of a business card, and take well to being used as bookmarks, etc.This little calendar is full of such timeless sayings, that fit well within any religious (or non-religious) practice. I look forward to finding out what 2013 will teach me.
Almost missed getting this again this year but got lucky and grabbed one just before they went out of stock. Was surprised last year when I found I couldn't get a copy of this anywhere, on line or bricks and mortar. Next year I will shop even earlier and grab the full size desk calendar, but this one works great for me at work. One of my favorite calendars, first one bought for me by my girlfriend.
It's my most favorite calendar I ever purchased that didn't havehalf naked women on it.So much wisdom. I'd say 40% of the calendar hits home on how I want to live my life.Slowly getting there. One day I might even be a wise man.
