Kinuko Y. Craft is an artist I'm familiar with because she does most of the covers for Patricia A. McKillip, a fabulous fantasy writer. It's a joy to have her work enlarged to calendar-size, and the days are large enough for you to make notes of appointments, etc. Love it!
It's wonderful to see another year with a K.Craft calendar. I've bought two (or three, forget) in the past. Last year, I got two copies: one to use and one to save for its beauty. I'm doing the same this year: getting two. Why? Really? You have to ask? Because her artwork is glowingly magical, the detail and the charm are ravishing. She's just one of the absolute best fantasy artists around, whether she's doing cover art for novels or for children's books or for note cards or...hey...calendars.Rich colors. Intense heroines. Magical landscapes. Fascinating creatures.Seriously, a beaut for collectors and, as another reviewer said: You cannot go wrong with a Craft calendar. She rocks my world!
My favorite yearly calendar. The pictures are gorgeous, and I love the connection with ancient literature and mythology.
I absolutely love this calendar. It's simply stunning. The amount of intricate, flawless, well-thought-out work placed onto each & every picture can be easily seen throughout the calendar. Much love & pride went into these designs, and it shows. Most people who walk into my office love to look at it. One person even asked me where I purchased it. She said she loves the way the picture simply captures her attention. :)
While pretty the paper is thin and the hole punch is right at the edge so it falls off/rips through a hook and will not stay up on the wall. The punch hole needs to be placed lower as it's fully worthless this way. So very disappointed.
You can't go wrong with Kinuko Y. Craft. All of her work is exceptional and this calendar is gorgeous!
Beautiful calendar! It's already on my wall and I've started putting it to it's unfortunate use. (keeping track of my dog's heartworm and flea preventatives) I've received a few compliments on it.
