I received Life's Little Instruction Calendar 2005 as a gift and have been purchasing the new, updated version of this calendar every year since then. The size is perfect and sits well on a desk. Each day/date offers a new instruction and I find the messages to be motivational, humorous, logical and inspiring. The print is large enough for easy reading and, yet, there is still plenty of room on each page to jot down a note or two, as needed. It is one great calendar and I look forward to purchasing the 2013 edition as soon as it becomes available!
I have had this calendar for the past 3 or 4 years, and I just love reading the quote of the day. Sometimes they are perfectly timed to my life, and sometimes they make no sense, and other times they give me a lot to think about!
Every year we buy the Life's Little Instruction daily calendar. We have it in our bathroom and my husband and I read the message every day. Those most poignant to us, are taped to the inside of our linen closet for daily reminders.
We started buying these a few years ago. Just about every morning, we peel off the previous day's page and read the new day's. They're usually short little pithy statements that seem obvious, but also give someone something to think about.... Today's says "When it involves money or romance, relax and take things slow."Even the kids friends look forward to seeing when the come over. Heaven forbid that we forget on a Saturday of we will hear it.
We buy this calendar every year, not because of the sayings, but because it has enough space to write our schedule for the day. Most desk calendars are filled with pictures and contain little space to write.
Love checking every day for inspiration. Messages are thought provoking and great to read. I look forward to reading it. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a great gift for anyone young or old.
Started getting this calendar the first year it came out. It has become a family tradition and everyone expects to get this as a Christmas present. Had to buy an extra one this year since my son in law is on active duty and was away from home he needed one to take with him!!
I foolishly purchased another calender pad, that also provides a daily thought. It didn't take me long to realize my misteak (!) and order this item. With this item, every day is a new thought; the other calendar pad has a theme that goes on for DAYS, until one is tired of it. I used to routinely buy Life's Little Instruction Book each year, but then decided that I could try an alternative product this year. When one finds a winner, the best advice is to stick with it.
