My son loved the movie and we were excited for the book, my only gripe is that he noticed it isn't quite the same as the movie. It's a very condensed version but understandably so as I imagine a lot of little ones would probably lose interest too quickly. It came quickly and is bright and fun.
This is based on the cartoon "Curious George's Boo Fest" which my son loves. The book is a much abbreviated version of the same story and fun to read around Halloween time. I love that it's a "scary" story that won't keep my son awake or give him bad dreams, perfect for younger kids.
These newer Curious George books and cartoons are bringing George to a new generation! The updated graphics and original stories may not be perfect for the Curious George purists who love the original books, but they are much more cartoonish and visually appealing for young kiddos.Curious George Haunted Halloween follows closely one of the shows. There's a story about a monster who steals hats on Halloween. George is determined to take his picture. He enlists the help of some of his friends, and eventually they discover that it's not a monster at all!This is a good reader for 1st-2nd grade reading level. My oldest is in kindergarten and wouldn't be able to get through this completely on her own.This book is a cute Halloween story that's a little different from some of the more traditional ones. It's cute, and if you have a Curious George fan this is sure to be a hit!
Good story. I read to my 5 year old for his Halloween homework. He had to have a story read to him and then retell in his own words as well as write down a summary of what he remembered. The story was interesting to him, but a tad bit long. Nevertheless, he enjoyed it.
My grandson loves Curious George! This movies well put together in everyway. When I found out Ron Howard produces it, I wasn't suprised! Thanks to the wonderful cast as well!!They just keep getting better can't wait to order episodes 1, 2, 3 etc.
My son absolutely loves these new Curious George books, much more than the older original George books. This is the tale of No Noggin, a cute Halloween story for younger kids who scare easily.
My first grader loves reading this aloud and he's even learned how to use expression with this fun story, a keeper!
This is a cute Halloween story for younger children. Mine are 3 and 6 and liked it. Cute ending.
