Like: Vivid colored pictures, presents all types of monkeysDislike:Since the issue covers so many different types of monkeys (i.e. dinosaurs issue), there is a shorter 'story' than other issues (e.g., tigers issue).

The National Geographic readers are beautiful. They are popular with my students. The nonfiction easy readers can often work with older struggling students. Other books may feel babyish but these do not.

I'm a junior high sdc teacher and this is a great series for struggling readers that is high interest and age appropriate. Great photos that national geographic is known for and some interesting facts that I enjoyed. Keep making them!

I purchased this book for my grandson, who loves apes and monkeys. While we were reading the book I was shocked to read on p. 12 that, "Humans are in the ape family!" which is scientifically inaccurate. While I agree that we are all primates, every research based site that I went to declared, without exception, that, "Humans are not apes." This is supposed to be non-fiction, and the author has a responsibility to include only accurate information. Do not purchase this book if you are looking for the truth as it contains inaccurate information.

granddaughter loves it and getting mail. I am losing track of all the nation geographic magazines i have sent the grandkids.

A wonderful book for kids about the life of monkeys. I got it for my grandson who became fascinated with monkeys.

Great reading & learning book for youngsters. Bought for my granddaughter's 5th BD & she is still enjoying it.

My 8 year old loves to read and look at all the amazing pictures. Great information that kids can understand.
