I don't know where to classify the accordion -- keyboard? wind? any music teachers out there want to chime in? -- but this book shows the keyboard family -- piano, harpsichord, organ, and electric keyboard.We've just finished reports on Bach and Mozart, so it was cool to see a harpsichord. I didn't know the strings in a harpsichord were plucked -- "like a sideways harp," said one of my kids.Really good information -- cute musical instrument personas -- nice illustrations.
I love this book! I love that it introduces the harpsichord and organ to young students. My students loved it.
