My daughters (ages 4 and 6) love these books. They take turns reading and counting and they're learning factual info. while doing it! According to the older one's teacher, gifted kids are drawn to factual text. This one has many small picture details covering several areas of a city and includes an extra puzzle. There is NO duplication with The Great World Tour (even the On The Street pages are very different in the 2 books). It is very different from A Day in a City and A Year at a Construction Site books.
kids love these books. though the binding fell apart right away and the cover came off, and that was just them looking at the book :/
My grandson loves this book. It was delivered promptly and it time for Christmas.
