This is another great item for TMI fans to have. Loved the quotes, and the designs in the books/pages. BUT, when making a quote book, it's crucial to include some of the big quotes from the book itself. I received the book before watching the movie, and that I've seen the movie, I realize why some of the quotes weren't included in the book, like "Shadowhunters Looking Better In Black", because they weren't in the movie.
PROS:- First, the condition of the book once it arrived. It was in great condition, in which no dents or ripped pages were present. However, it did include some unnecessary shipment stickers (which can be easily removed).- Second, the contents of the book. It is definitely as you'd expect a movie quote book to be: pictures and quotes from the movie. It was very well put together, and overall enjoyable.CONS:- First, the shipping. It didn't take that long, but it was still somewhat a while. (approx. 1.5 weeks)- Second, this book only contains quotes that were included in the movie City of Bones (first book in the Mortal Instruments series). Not that it's all that bad, but other quotes that are more famously known by readers and within the book itself should have been included as well.*I highly suggest purchasing this book if you are a Mortal Instruments fan and a collector of bookish merchandise.
My granddaughter is in love with this series and she is thrilled with this book. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. She tells me the photos are "Yummy". Hi praise indeed.
It did took forever but I think it worth the wait. I LOVE IT. The quotes are amazing. I did forget a lot from the book.
This is not what I was expecting of a quote book, but it was cute enough to give to a mortal instruments fellow fan!
Had some of my favorite quotes from the movie so it wasn't a total loss. It's been added to my TMI collection.
