I bought this on impulse for my young son and didn't realize how much technical and production information was in this book. For the avid fan of the series and movies this book will be a treasure trove of details. For the much younger reader though it'll be on the shelf unread for quite a while.It's a great book and as a fan of Thunderbirds since I was 5 I'm sure I'll get a lot out of it too.
Since I love the Thunderbirds, why wouldn't I have the companion guide, right? In reality, there were other Gerry Anderson "books" written, but I do enjoy those written by Chris Bentley. The episode by episode detailed descriptions are great! Fans of the Thunderbirds will not be disappointed.
It's a good basic introduction to Thunderbirds. I was hoping that being 'complete' there would be something more comprehensive about the building and filming of the models used on the show but perhaps I had bigger hopes than I had any right to expect. It came in good time, was as descrbed and worth the money I spent.
Love Superanimation - can't get enough of it - Gary Anderson was very creative and I love stop motion photography with models makes me feel like a kid playing with my toys
