The book was in excellent condition! It arrived much quicker than expected! We are going to use it as an "autograph" book when we go to Disney World so I love that all of the details in the book are so informative and the pictures are great!
We rented this from the library and my kids (2.5 and 4) loved it so much that we added it to their wish lists (one for each). They love this book. I have to give them a limit as to how many I'm going to read.Book is well organized with color coding in the margins so that you can thumb through and find the movie you need. All of the bio's are very detailed. I just skip certain sections--I can read them when the kids are older and can call me out on that. Fun book, even for the parents!
I give the content of this book 5 stars hands down. BUT we've only had it a few weeks and already it's completely falling apart :( The binding just isn't holding all the pages in and they have separated in several places. I'm using tape to try and salvage the book as long as possible because both my boys (ages 2 and 5) adore it. Despite their young age, my boys are very gentle with books and none of our other books have fallen apart like this. I'm disappointed because it is otherwise such a great book.
My toddlers love this book. They can't read everything in it, but love to look at the pictures and have mom and dad read to them. Every time we put one of the movies in, they run to find the book and find all the characters.
got this for a birthday gift for a 6 year old who has been to disney- she seemed happy with it and the rest of the kids who saw her open it seemed impressed with it as well. it's a good 'reference' book to peruse and be reminded of all the fun movies and characters
This volume covers the majority of Pixar characters from over the years. Great for the young kids who want a bit more detail into their favorite movie friends. The kids have not put this down since discovering this. A great companion to the Disney Pixar Cars Character Encyclopedia.
Ordered for my eleven year old daughter's birthday. She is obsessed with Pixar movies, so when she opened the gift, she responded with "WOW!!" My mostly nonverbal kiddo (Down syndrome and Autism spectrum) coos when she looks at the pics and kisses her favorite character pages. She totes this book all over the house and even brings it to bed with her. So thankful for the hardcover and sturdy binding that is handling her rough "lovings"! Should last a long time!
I have a plan (I saw the idea on Pinterest!) of turning this into an autograph book when we go to Disney World! I also bought the Disney Jr. Encyclopedia. My 7 year old daughter loves looking at the pictures and reading about each character.
