I get the Star Trek calendar every year, The pictures in this calendar are not from the best episodes, and some I would not have chosen at all. Still, I can't imagine not having it on my wall, and friends would think I had lost my mind if that place was empty, or showed another.
I was alittle disappointed that the pictures weren't more reflective of the whole exciting package that the Classic Star Trek series brings to modern day Trekies such as myself. They are just general snap shots of the actors doing some mundane things from different episodes. I enjoy that general layout, the colors are true to classic star trek, and I especially appreciated the snippets of trivia that appear at the bottom of each month. I must not have noticed that in the seller description and was pleasantly surprised when I saw all the trivia from month to month. The front cover of the calendar was just so cool I had to have it. If you want something really really really special -- keep looking. But this isn't a bad start and I would actually probably end up buying it again if I had the chance. It's hard to find trivia calendars any more these days!
These calendars are a family tradition for us. My husband is a fan of the original Star Trek crew and every year I get him a new calendar filled with nostalgia and adventure. :) Can't wait to see what they choose for next year's shots.
What can i say, I hope they continue to print calendars for people like me that love the original cast and crew, and the details of the photos. I grew up on this story and have loved it ever sense. Please do not stop your creation of the Star Trek Calendars.
Great pictures from some classic episodes with description regarding the image on each month.Normal 'wall size' calendar size. Room in each day to right a couple words (or more if you write seriously tiny)
I bought this because I am a big fan of the original series Star Trek. And there are a few episodes that are highlighted on this calendar photos. Will have to have the 2015 Next Generation calendar next year.
MY HUSBAND TREATS HIMSELF TO A TRADITIONAL STAR TREK CALENDAR EVERY YEAR. HE HAS BEEN A TREKKIE FOR YEARS. HIS DEN WOULDN'T BE QUITE RIGHT WITHOUT CAPTAIN KIRK, SPOCK, AND COMPANY. HE LOVES THIS CALENDAR. WE WOULD BOTH FEEL SOMETHING AMISS IF THERE WASN'T A CLASSIC ST CALENDAR ON THE WALL.
So why would I stop collecting them now? This is the same high quality calendar that it has always been. Highly recommended for Star Trek fans everywhere.
