If you've watch the episode of George goes bowling on PBS, it's pretty much line for line. It's entertaining with the flaps and my toddler gets excited to be the one to flip them to reveal what's next. Good book, but since each page is multiple sentences, a toddler may get anxious to turn the page before you're done.
My 2-year-old son has recently become obsessed with bowling and there are very few children's books about bowling. This book has been great! He loves bowling and loves Curious George. We read it every night at bedtime and recite it several times throughout the day. The lift the flap design was a welcome surprised to make the book a little more interactive. Since it is a paperback book, I doubt it will last in years to come. However, I expect the book will last through this phase. Couldn't be happier!
Fun book with great George graphics. I think it would be better without the flaps, though. They don't add much and the story and images are enough to make this a fun little book to read for my 3 and 5 year olds.
My son loved it, he has most of the movies and to add books to his collection is just great... The added flaps in books to expand the view was unexpected... But a nice bonus to enjoy the beautiful illustration!
The story itself is good, but do not get the kindle version! The quality is bad, almost looked like they just scanned the page. Quite disappointed.
Bought this for my grandson. He is 2 and a half and loves Curious George. This book was a hit with him.
Bought for a bowlers new born named George and they loved it. Great read for kids
