I'm a substitute teacher, so I love using Mad Libs as a fun way to pass time with the students when needed. I pick and choose from the book the ones I think will be the funniest and then photocopy them to take with me, so I don't have to carry the whole book (along with everything else that's in my sub bag). Plenty of different ones to choose from in this, too, so I won't run out of options too quickly or re-use the same ones when I sub for the same class over and over.
My kids 9 and 11 really enjoy these. Even with video game options they choose to play these. It's a huge collection. It has lasted a very long time. They are appropriate subject matter for young kids while still keeping the funny factor intact. They have no idea they're learning at the same time- bonus!
We LOVE Mad Libs! I loved them as a child. When I asked my daughter about them, she didn't know what they were. So I bought her this one and one other. She has had so much fun with Mad Libs with her grandparents and friends.
I bought these as an ice breaker for an adult game night, and we had a lot of fun using naughty swear words while we played it. We laughed so hard we started crying! Great as an inbetween activity.
This book helps foster creativity and fun for kids. Great way to encourage comversation between adults and children and between children.
My 11 year olds love these books -- a perennial favorite! They never tire of these creative books -- great for car trips.
