Am I the only one who wants to use the pictures in this book as artwork?! These books are always great and family favorites but I'm thinking of using the pics from this book for nursery art... they're so pretty and adorable. My son loves looking at all the colors and holding this book himself and I love looking at it with him.
If you haven't played with one of these Indestructable books yet, you've got to get your hands on one. I would compare it to a Tyvek mailing envelope material, only slightly thicker. I am amazed that it is fully chewable and washable. At such an affordable price, I've given many of these as gifts. I especially love how bright and colorful the illustrations are. This particular book doesn't have text...which is fabulous for a baby because you can talk about the animals yourself and make up your own story. When I hold this book out for my 5 month old, he gets really giddy and wants to hold it immediately. What a great way to let them use their senses on a book that can withstand it.
These books are pretty great for babies at the "grab everything and shove it in my mouth" stage. The pictures themselves are really cool with nice, vivid colors that grabbed baby's attention. And while the books might not be as crisp and uncreased as when they were new, they show no signs of falling apart. I wish more baby things could be made like this!
I can't say enough good things about these books. The material they are made of is amazing. Gave them to my daughter when she was 5 months old, she is now 13 months and the books still look great. A little crumpled but that is to be expected. I always keep a few in my diaper bag. They have gone with us to church, restaurants, parks, the beach, you name it. They clean up really easy. A great chew toy as well. So far they are living up to their indestructible name.
My favorite book in the series because of the wonderful images.Book is wordless, when it should have included 1-2 words a page. Babies love print. My son loves having a book that mom lets him play with and chew on. These books will get wrinkled but they are still functional and much better than giving my son a real book (which would be destroyed at first drool). The pages are too thin for my 9 month old to turn. He can only do board book page turning at this point.Overall, my son loves to play with it.
My baby son loves to eat books, so I was thrilled to see this special Indestructibles book for babies! He absolutely cannot destroy it no matter how much he chews on it or tries to rip it apart. Ever since I had my first baby, I wished that there was a book that my baby wouldn't be able to mess up, and now they have lots of them, all with bright, baby-friendly artwork. I loved the ones that I ordered so much that I purchased extras to give as gifts.
there are only pictures inside no words. I thought that was silly, but my 14 month old daughter absolutely LOVES these books! We are constantly looking at them and they keep her distracted on planes and out in restaurants. They are light and easy to take on the go. I would definitely recommend them!
I was referred to this series of books after complaining that my daughter loved to make books her new snack of choice. When this first arrived, I thought the package was empty. It was not what I expected at all. It's a very, very thin book with magazine/paper like pages that are reinforced. There are about 6 or so pages. I do like that these don't have words so I can make up a story as I please. Overall my 8 month old daughter loved this book and crumples and chews on it as she pleases with no destruction.
