I was really excited to be able to purchase the latest edition of The Little Giant Book of Optical Illusions by Keith Kay with it's new fun cover design. I really needed to replace my older version of the book with it's well worn pages and cover.This is not a glossy "coffee table" book, but one that you can carry around with you. It slips easily into your pocket, and is great for long car journeys and family quiz nights. It would be a great resource for teachers.The book is full of optical ilusions and puzzles together with all the answers.Although marketed towards children, many adults will find this collection fun and entertaining
Get this one. The pages are small, but it has hours of fun illusions to look at.Many of the other books like this are flimsy, cheap, and or have only 20 pages. This book is worth a buy. You can also use it in a lab to measure the shapes (probably mm) and lines that are illusions, there must be at least 20 of those in this book as well.Have fun! great little book!
Our power was out for 5 hours a few days ago so I pulled this little book out for my son who just turned 11. We enjoyed looking through the illusions and trying to figure them out. It was a great way to pass some time. It is fairly small and would also be perfect for car rides or to throw in a purse for long waits at doctor's offices, etc. We both really enjoyed this book!
