The binding and pages are good quality (that's why the higher price) but it isn't quite what I wanted. It's my fault for not looking at the description better--but I really wanted an adult coloring. book with more detail. I may keep it just for fun . I would recommend it for children.
I purchased this item to bring to a dance recital to keep all the little girls busy backstage and it was a huge hit. The girls loved the simple to color pictures and several parents asked where I got the book.
Your little ballerina will spend hours coloring the dancers, ballet shoes, tiaras and pictures of famous ballet scenes featured in this book. The illustrations are very high quality and each page already has some parts (backgrounds or character's faces) colored in but the rest is left for the youngster who owns the book. I have a feeling that older girls with an artistic flair will also find this book interesting and want to put their mark on it.Book provided by publisher.
Pictures are comparable to a Melissa and Doug Big Coloring book - the skin of all the humans is already colored in for you, in a multitude of ethnicities.
