Perfectionistic Jerzey Mae desperately wants to be a ballet dancer. But she's frustrated by her own lack of talent--and by her friends' jokes about her terrible dancing. Things get even worse when her little brother Mason attends her ballet class, totally embarrassing Jerzey in front of her prima ballerina idol, Miss Camilla Freeman. When Jerzey learns that Miss Camilla will be attending their recital, she's determined not to make a fool of herself again. But her efforts to learn her dance are continually thwarted--until she finds help in a very unexpected place.

my daughter is ten she will be 11 soon.this is the 3rd book in the series and we think this is going to be her last, not because she doesn't like it but she's getting to old for the characters.these books are very well written and have story line the kids can relate to.my daughter looked sad when she said she thinks she's getting to old for it. Whoopi Goldberg only puts these out once or twice a year.so she has a while before the next comes out.we love these books.

Whoopy for Whoopie! Another winner! This series is so cute! Eack book focuses on one member in a tightly knit group of young girls who attend the same ballet school. This book's focus is Jerzey Mae, one of the triplets. I knew it was gonna be a fun book when her parents said Jerzey Mae's little brother (Mason) would have to go to ballet school with the triplets because they (their parents) had to work. There's alway a problem to solve, a little lesson in each book. This one shows help can come from the least expected places. I highly recommend this book as well as the others in the series. I can't wait for the next one!!P.S. The kids loved it, too!

My daughter is biracial and adopted into a loving white family. These books are wonderful! She loves reading them. She feels like she learns a lot from them and that she can relate to the little girl in the books. I wish there were more of these for her to read!!

I really enjoyed this book. All three of the Sugar Plum Ballerina books are great!

This book was purchase for my great granddaughter for her birthday. She is 7 and can't quite read it alone. Her Nana reads it with her. But she love the book so I am happy with it as well. Especially since these girls look like her.

This book is the third in a series of five different books. These books are so real to the imagination. My daughter and I have read them all, and she is only 5 years of age. She knows all of the characters, and loves them all. We can't wait for more. We are also looking for the cartoon series to be produced as well. This is the type of read that every little girl should read, or have read to them. Especially great for mommy and daughter time.

Great book for kids.Recommend for all young children. Excellent parent/child reading opportunity. Good book with which to grow up. Nice introduction for young ladies to the world of ballet.

My daughter loves this book. She has the other books also, and loves them. She cannot wait for #4. Ms. Goldberg keep it coming..
