Coin collecting has become my daughter’s latest passion so I checked out several beginners numismatic books for her at the public library. For those of you who don’t know what Numismatic means (I didn't before reading this book), it is the studying or collecting coins, medals, and tokens. I am so grateful to Pam Scheunemann for her coin collecting tips, which include: start with the coins you already have. Read, research and research some more before spending any amount of money on coins. Thank goodness! Otherwise my daughter would be pleading for me to invest far more money than is available for some old pennies. Great information and wonderful photographs, make this a must have for any budding coin collector.
this was purchased for our son who is an avid coin collector. He think it's a great helpful book. would recomend
