Excellent introduction to Hillary for any young reader. Surprisingly even handed and, while generally positive for Hillary, it also covers her failed healthcare initiative during Bill Clinton's presidency, her ill advised vote for the Iraq War and her loss to Obama in 2008. Lot's of related overviews including one on Eleanor Roosevelt, The Great Depression and other woman who have run for president (who knew that several woman ran in the late 1800's ?).
I talk to my kids about politics and I try to be fair, although I do have a bias. What I like about this book is that it was positive and honest in an age appropriate manner. HRC is an exceptional person, that is clear in the book. But the book also hits on her failures and the impeachment of her husband. There is enough information to have a conversation but not presented in a sleazy way that would be inappropriate for children or biased.

NOT TRUE!Her Clinton Foundation is a Charity..... and not a Pay to Play Slush Fund REALLY? Read or Watch "CLINTON CASH"!Teacher , I could go on and on... her mentor was Senator Robert Byrd (klu Klux Klanner) , her dissertation was on Saul Alinsky "Rules for Radicals" who she greatly admired, Whitewater, Cattle Futures, Castle Grande, Gennifer Flowers, Travelgate, Removal of Vince Foster Documents and much more.: And finally from Barack Obama who said and I quote: "Hillary Clinton will say anything and change nothing."
I like this book so much but there is one tiny glitch in this book. The author didn't include everything that happened in her life. I not saying that this book doesn't have detail its just that the author didn't include some important details. But I would definitely recommend this book.Written by a 9 year old
My daughter read it straight through tonight - then went right on to the What Is the Olympics. That's the summer of 2016 in a nutshell.
My 8 year old is enjoying reading this book. I really like this series, very educational.
