Meow: A Day in the Life of Cats includes many cats such as a British shorthair, Persian, Burmese, and others. It is an easy read for children and great for the imagination.
My[..]daughter kept taking this wonderful cat book out from the school library and renewing it so many times until finally she had to let someone else have a turn - which is why I decided to buy the book for her instead. It is supposed to be a day in the life of cats and shows photographs of very cute kittens and cats doing all sorts of funny poses. (By the way, there is also a dog book version of much of the same type of pictures, which my daughter got from the library a few times while waiting for this book to become available). I highly recommend it if you or someone you know likes looking at very cute pictures of kittens and cats doing very cute and funny things.
This book is simply adorable!! I saw it in a bookstore one day and I simply had to buy it. The intended audience is young children, but cat lovers of any age will love it, too. The photos are fantastic--the cats' individual personalities seem to leap off the pages! I'm saving this book in my personal library to someday read to my future children. My only complaint is that the book is too short--I wish it were twice as long!
