My son loves the Little Blue Truck books so I preordered this sticker book for him a long time ago. The books are good for your average 2 or 3 year old. However, the sticker book is for much older kids. The description says minimum age of 4 but it requires that a child be able to read, spell, and count to complete most of the activities. There is only one page for coloring. The stickers are not very cute and are mostly of fruits and vegetables-not the fun characters we are used to from the books. There are approximately 50 stickers. 20 of them are apples! What kid gets excited for apple stickers? Another 16 are pumpkins and gourds. We'll be sending this one back.I can't imagine that the kids old enough to complete the activities will enjoy it either since they will realistically be too old to care about the books that this is supposed to draw from.Overall, vastly off par from the quality of the other two Little Blue Truck books.
We love the Little Blue Truck books, so I was excited to get this for my 2 year old. There are not many stickers with it, and the activities seem to be for older kids, even though the books' audience seems to be under 5. Mine hasn't been interested in it at all, except for playing a little with the stickers.
Don't waste your money. It feels like a bit of a scam! Almost all the stickers are apples or other fruit like squash. I don't know about your toddler, but mine wanted stickers of the farm animal characters and the truck, but there is only one of those, out of the "50 plus" they tout on the cover. If I could return it I would.
Cutest little book for my 2 Year Old nephew. If you have read the other Little Blue Truck books, you will love this book. We bought this book thinking it was another Little Blue Truck book, but it is more of an interactive book. The book comes with cute stickers and places to color in to "go with" the story.While we bought this for a 2 year old, I would probably get it for a child 3+ just because they would probably enjoy the color in portions more than a two year old does.Great book.
This book was perfect for my little one on his first airplane ride. He was able to remove and stick the stickers to the pages with ease. The content of the book itself was a little old for him, but we made the most of it.
my almost 2 year old loves the little blue truck and he loves stickers. What could go wrong... Well, there are only 2 pages of stickers, most of which are apples and sounds the animals make. There are zero, none, not any stickers of the horse, cow, pig that are not in Halloween costumes. I wanted a book of stickers so I can stick a cow on my kid one day and the next day I'll stick the truck on him. That would make him and me very happy. I would run out of cow stickers the first day I used it(Halloween costume only) and there are 4 stickers of the little blue truck. That is not counting the lack of stickers of other animals that feature prominently in the excellent LBT book. As other reviewers have said the activities inside are for older kids, but I bought it for LBT and farm stickers for which it is a big disappointment.
This book has been a lot of fun. My grandson loves the Little Blue Truck Series of books and now instead of just reading about the Little Blue Truck, he gets to do the puzzles and by using the stickers, gets to create his own little adventures for the Little Blue Truck.
I bought this book for my son, because he loves Little Blue Truck books, but he's only 18 months old & its more for older children. It isnt just a sticker book, its an activity book too. I had fun doing it!
