Super cute book for a loose tooth "tooth fairy" book...most of those types of books appeal to girls, this one is great for boys and girls! Good easy and educational read. My son's front teeth were coming in when we read it, he read it everyday that week and I took it to school for guest reading!

I love this book and so do my kiddos! We read the story and then we did a writing sample where the children choose what kind of animal teeth they wanted and why. I had different samples of the different kinds of teeth and they glued them to their head at the top of the writing sample. The book was really cute and informational. This is a great informative-narrative if you are looking for one!

My four year old was first introduced to this series at her preschool class, and she is fascinated by these books. They are informational yet silly, with both exaggerated illustrations and real-life photography. I feel like she's learning something and satisfying her curiosity, and she loves it. It is still a little too informational and gets boring for my 2-1/2 year old boy.

My boys are still talking about this book weeks after we got it and my mom read it to them & took it home. They come up to me suddenly and talk about what type of animal teeth they would like to have and what they would do with them. The pictures are cute and it definitely provided them with a surprisingly long-term learning experience.

This book is very engaging - especially relevant for kids just starting to loose their teeth. The animals include traditional selections such as an elephant and lesser known animals like a naked mole rat. The format has a good rhythm - the left page talks about the unique features of the animals' teeth, and the right page shows an illustration of what a child would look like with that animal's teeth. It's a good length; a variety of examples with colorful illustrations and a succinct amount of text on each page.

I read this to0 my granddaughter's first grade class the kids loved it and it managed to give a lot of information along wht great ilusrations a a sense of humor a great age to read it too as these kids are all loosing teeth

This book is a wonderful mix of non-fiction informational text with fiction pieces. In each section you learn about a different animal's teeth and the adaptations that make these teeth worthwhile. Then a child "mimics" what would happen if he had the same teeth. I use this book with my animal adaptation unit. It is a great way to bring the point home!

I love this book...it went perfectly with a gift for my 6 yr old grandson. He has a fascination with animal teeth. So.... I gave him this book along with real animal teeth attached to pictures of the actual animals that go with those teeth. It was a hit!
