I bought this for my grandson who like to wander about his bedroom instead of sleeping in his bed. He asked me to read it to him every time we sat down to read books together. He loved it! Not sure if it helped him sleep in his own bed because while we were there to visit he came to visit and sleep with us. Ha Ha but it was great fun to read with him and he still wants Mom & Dad to read it to him.
I got this book after seeing it on the Kindle Buffett list. This one is good for kids you are trying to encourage to sleep in their own bed and had nice graphics which is important to me. My toddler liked the book but the message was lost on her as she finds our bed the best place in the world to sleep.
My grand one was having a very trying time adjusting to sleeping in her own bed, both at her home and in her room at our house. Ordering this book for use with my Kindle app was one of the wisest grand-parenting choices I 've made ! She requests this story often as her bedtime story, and yes, she is now sleeping quite comfortably in her own bed while visiting us! Thank you to the author!!!!!
I bought this to read to my little boy to encourage him to sleep in his big boy bed. The bunny decides to sleep in his bed because he gets to paint it whatever color he wants. What? That's not helpful. We aren't going to paint our beds! I'll keep looking for a cute book that has a story that makes kids want to stay in their beds.
This book did not work. The basic premise is if you keep going into your parents' bed, your siblings will want to as well, and then it will break because it will get too heavy. How does this apply to an only child? It didn't really resolve well at the end either.
After all of the bunnies trying to sleep in the same bed they end up breaking their parents bed so they decorate their new beds. My five year old loved this story
I chose the five stars for what I thought was a great bedtime story for the very young especially for those children who prefer to sleep in their parents' bed instead of their own. I also liked the lot, characters and illustrations she used here.I recommend this book for parents' to read before a very young child goes to sleep. Shelley Admont you are a genius. My daughter always wants to sleep in our bed. Even if we let her lay in it until she falls asleep then take her to her own bed she eventually wakes up in the middle of the night asking to sleep with us. Every parent with a toddler knows what I'm talking about. Well tonight after listening to Jimmy's experience she said "daddy I want to sleep in my bed forever and ever lol and two minutes later she fell right to sleep. Tis' a good night indeed. my husband and I really appreciate and love your books.
