Perfect condition and lovely book for my young son. Buyer be aware that not EVERY B.Potter story is in this book. However, there is a nice story about the author herself, and lots of notes at the beginning of each story to explain its origins. A joy to read.
It's just my opinion...but I think every child should have at least one Beatrix Potter book. If you want to incite the imagination of your child, there's nothing like Peter Rabbit, Jemima the Duck, Benjamin Bunny and the host of other lovely character's of Beatrix Potter.The stories are timeless,wonderfully instructive and most of all, fun!So...it's just my opinion, but every little girl and boy should have at least one of Beatrix Potter's illustrative books. They'll simply love it.Cheers!
I love Peter Rabbit, this book not only has the original Peter Bunny stories, it also has the behind the scene explanation for why and how each story written. I learned some facts about Beatrix Potter that were very interesting.
This is one of the best books that any child or adult for that matter could ever possibly want to have. We are so glad that we bought it.Very lovely.
love the fact that the intro tells the story of Beatrix Potter's life and then all her lovely stories follow with beautiful illustrations. Nice and heavy, substantial feeling.
I bought this book for a friend for her baby shower, and then I decided that I needed one for my little one. This book is fabulous if you love the Beatrix Potter collection. It tells the history of Beatrix Potter at the front of the book, which is great for parents. Then, there are beautifully illustrated pages with all of the Beatrix Potters stories in one book. I look forward to story time now.
This is a treasury of Peter Rabbit's stories. It is a classic collectible. I grew up with these stories and loved them. I got it for my kids. These are stories we never outgrow p. suitable for all ages.
Beautifully illustrated book, which includes a history of Beatrix Potter. I could not wait to order this book after seeing the movie of Beatrix Potter's life. (Until then, I was unaware of the amazing environmental legacy of this lady who was ahead of her time.) I was fortunate to obtain a used copy of the book in like new condition!
