This is a great framing of the "job" of being a big sister that only Olivia can deliver. This isn't really geared for that initial bring home baby phase (I highly recommend I'm a Big Sister by Joanne Cole), but great for the follow up after the new baby is up and about and the big sister responsibilities grow. The stickers that come with the book are really cute, and a nice bonus.
This was an okay book. My daughter enjoyed it. But, we purchased it with the specific idea of introducing the concept of a baby sister to her. While it was cute, it wasn't very realistic. In no way is my daughter old enough to do the things Olivia does for her little brothers. And, and newborn doesn't do the same sort of things Olivia's little brothers do.Cute book, just not for introducing a newborn to big sister.
I bought this to help prepare our toddler for being a big sister. It doesn't mention anything about parents bringing home a new baby. Instead it shows how she enjoys helping being a big sister in general (to a preschool & older toddler brother). A cute book, but not quite what I was hoping for/ expecting.
Olivia works hard here trying to set a good example for her two siblings. This is an excellent book for older sisters since it encourages them to be good big sisters like Olivia. There are plenty of "tips" here on how to do all of this and set that good example so this is the perfect little book to foster this type of behavior. Thanks Olivia!Book provided by publisher.
We bought this for our 6 year old Daughter when we announced she was going to be a big sister. She loved this book, we have read a few times already. I think she will be more interested in them as the due date approaches.
Our family really enjoyed this book. It worked so well for our family as my daughter is the oldest with a younger brother and another on the way. Which is the same as Olivia and her family. The humor is great and even my husband and I enjoy reading it to them. My daughter brings up stuff from the book often. Definitely recommend.
This is a great book for a big sister who is getting a baby brother. My granddaughter has read it over and over. Big plus is it comessage with a bunch of stickers. I like the values this book has about family and being a good big sister
