I'm not sure what others were expecting of this daily planner. My son has read and reread the book series many times. He loves his planner and makes it easy for me to give him home work assignments that he can complete on bis own. It works for us, even as homeschoolers! We will start to incorporate as a blog planner in the future! I hope planner will continue to be available for reorders!
My son is a huge fan of this. Organization is not his strong suit, but he loves the illustrations, they keep him engaged while he learns to schedule his own life. This planner was developed in a way that it can be used for any calendar year, so smart!
I have greatly enjoyed Jeff Kinney's sense of humor, having read every one of his Wimpy Kid books. He has a great empathy for middle school children, and captures it very well in the series. My granddaughter loves the Wimpy Kid stories, and I bought the calendar for her to use next year in school.Sadly, this school calendar is not worth the money I paid for it. It has very little by the way of artwork, and essentially none of the Kinney humor. I fear it would become just one more item to get lost in the pile of books. Perhaps I am unique this way, but I think it will not be very satisfying to most of the series' fans.
Great fun to read on a daily basis, and terrific for keeping track of homework assignments and kids school appointments. Fun introduction to planning and tracking for children.
